Terms of Business
3. Ordering and Acceptance
By placing an order on our website, you make an offer to purchase goods subject to these terms and conditions. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price. Once your order is placed, we will confirm receipt via email, but this does not constitute acceptance. A contract between us will only be formed when we dispatch the goods to you.
4. Pricing and Payment
All prices listed on our website are in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice. Once you place an order, the price stated at the time will apply.
We accept the following payment methods:
• Credit/Debit Cards
• PayPal
• Bank Transfer (if applicable)
You must ensure that all payment details provided are correct and that you have sufficient funds to cover the order. Payment must be received in full before we dispatch any goods.
5. Delivery
We aim to deliver all orders within the timeframes stated on our Delivery Information page, typically 5-7 working days, depending on your location and stock availability. While we will make every effort to deliver within the agreed timeframe, we cannot be held responsible for delays due to unforeseen circumstances.
We deliver to areas across the Midlands and the North, and the minimum order value for free delivery varies by postcode. The customer is responsible for ensuring proper access to the delivery location. Deliveries will be made at the driver’s discretion based on the safety and accessibility of the location.
Please refer to our Delivery Information page for full details.
6. Cancellation and Returns
6.1. Right to Cancel
You have the right to cancel your order under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation, and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. This right applies within 14 days from the day after the goods are delivered to you. To exercise this right, you must notify us in writing via email at sales@welovetimber.co.uk. You must return the goods to us in their original, unused condition within 14 days of cancellation.
Note: Some goods may be exempt from cancellation, such as custom-cut timber or made-to-order products. These items are non-refundable unless faulty.
6.2. Refunds and Exchanges
We will process any refunds due within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence of their return. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. If the goods are faulty or not as described, we will bear the return costs. For all other returns, you will be responsible for covering the cost of return postage or transport.
7. Faulty Goods
In accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair if the goods are faulty or not as described. If a defect arises within 30 days of purchase, you may return the goods for a full refund. If the defect arises after this period, we will work with you to repair or replace the goods. If a repair or replacement is not possible, you will be entitled to a refund. Timber is a natural product and as such can vary in terms of appearance and condition. Cracks and knots are a natural feature and are not considered to be faulty.

Nothing in these terms will limit your statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
