This galvanised multi purpose gate staple, for particular use with gate drops.
This is common place in agricultural and equine fields and most contractors and farmers will have stock of these for repairs and renewals. It comes galvanised to prevent rotting and rusting

Description
Measuring 100mm in length and 30mm wide and this gate staple is simply hammered into a wooden post to allow a bolt to receive into the loop. It’s solid round mild steel construction comes pre-pointed on each end to aid being hammered into position.
